School officials are seeking to move EBR Readiness Academy, a small alternative school for high school students with discipline problems, from its current dilapidated home and to do so over the Christmas break, but thereâs disagreement about where to move. The proposal is to move it from its current home, the former Banks Elementary, to the former home of Glen Oaks Middle. Neither building is in great shape and both are slated to be demolished, but EBR school officials say Glen Oaks Middle is in better shape and with about three weeks of cleanup it could work for at least a semester to house the alternative schools. Board members are balking at the move and demanding a better home, but the school system says there are many alternatives, especially for such a quick move. Board member Dadrius Lanus is particularly against the idea, having gone to Glen Oaks Middle a
