don t want to have. you don t want to have a meltdown combined with a crack in the containment vessel, the last line of defense, because you don t want that material to seep out into the broader environment. that s the danger, it s really if there is if there are problems with the containment vessel. you know, that s what we keep hearing. when the radiation spikes occur not only inside the facility themselves but farther and farther away, that indicates that somehow that radiation is going through, whether it s the pipes and the water, the water having absorbed the radiation, or the crack and it s getting into the soil, that the scope how far away from these reactors at the end of the day do people now think sort of people won t be able to live? there will not be any activity for 10, 20, 50 years? how far does that circumference extend? as with all things related to the crisis, the real zillion is we don t know realization is we don t know. in terms of high radiation levels,

in fukushima province. but in the reactor area itself, that s that s concerning to me. we re starting to see levels now that are dangerous to reactor workers if they re in those contaminated areas. of course, the other area of concern is what s happening around the plant. radioactivity in the sea water around it tested at about 1,800 times the normal level over the weekend. this is not an area that is fished for seafood. but the sea water contamination. does it pose a threat to human health? well, i am very concerned to see it finally getting there. i m not surprised. frankly i ve been expecting it. but i was hoping they would be able to contain it and keep it from going in the ocean. these levels right now are not immediately dangerous to humans. the problem is, is it s there. it s gotten out into the ocean. of course, these fukushima reactor complexes right on the ocean, right on the coast.
