Volkswagen Group is said to have received an offer of €7.5 billion for Lamborghini. According to a media report, the offer comes from Quantum Group AG - a Zurich-based holding company. Quantum Group AG is represented by Rea Stark, Co-Founder, Piech Automotive - another Zurich-based company. Piech Automotive executives include Anton Piech (son of former VW Group Chairman, Ferdinand Piech) and Matthias Muller (ex-Porsche CEO). However, their involvement in the acquisition offer is still unknown. Reports suggest that Quantum Group AG is looking to acquire not only the Lamborghini name but also the brand s facility at Sant Agata, Italy and their motorsports division.
