that blame him for that. quite frankly, are glad to see him go. but, all in all, i think his reputation is one that is beyond reproach here in washington. he was a democratic senator who did work on both sides of the aisle and tried to put forward bipartisan slugs solutions throughout his two terms in the u.s. senate. reaction from the white house? what is the president doing today? well, the white house is not pleased. they, too, were caught by surprise, as was the senate majority leader harry reid. today, president obama is doing a jobs event. he ll be in maryland. tomorrow, the president i should say later in the week, the president travels to colorado to campaign for michael bennett, a senator who is having some difficulties in his re-election run. then he will be campaigning for harry reid in las vegas, nevada who also is having trouble in terms of his run for re-election. it s a busy week for the white house and a busy week for president obama. reuters washington
