The High Court here, Tuesday, granted leave to 12 individuals over the decision of City Hall and two others to demolish and empty a property built under Government land.

Twelve individuals have filed leave for judicial review at the High court here against the decision of Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) and two others to demolish and empty a property built under Government land.
The applicants - Rosmawati Asli, Sayful Safuan Ridzuan Puddin, Rusirdo Nowang, Arnah Kisah, Irnis Sarnih, Razalee Gahani, Yassin Muhammad, Sikh Mohamad Sikh Ab Rahman, Datu Akmadun Datu Amirul, Herman, Lau Yat Meng and Rano Susulan – named DBKK as the first respondent, Land and Surveys Department Director as the second respondent and Sabah Fisheries Department Director as the third respondent.
The High Court fixed Oct 20 for the hearing.
The grounds of the application are that the second and third respondents have officially and formally agreed and approved the setting up and designation of the 12 applicants to occupy, stay and reside on the land
