JOHOR BARU, April 8 The rape trial of Tronoh assemblyman Paul Yong has been postponed to June and July after the prosecution told the High Court here that three witnesses were in quarantine and unable to testify tomorrow as scheduled.
Judge Datuk Abdul Wahab Mohamed allowed the adjournment of the trial and set another eight days for the trial to continue.
He fixed the new trial dates for June 23 to 25 and July 12 to 16.

BEAUFORT: Sipitang emerged champions of the West Coast South zone of the Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin Cup Under-18 football tournament beating Kuala Penyu 4-1.
In the other match, Beaufort defeated Membakut to finish as runners-up.
All the matches involving the four teams were held at Beaufort Sports Complex under strict standard operating procedures (SOP) without spectators to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The prizes were presented to the teams by State Local Government and Housing Assistant Minister Datuk Isnin Aliasnih and also in attendance was Safa Beaufort president Datuk Abd Razak Sulaiman.
