DETROIT (WXYZ) â UPDATE: The Detroit Police have safely located two siblings who left home. No further details were given.
The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public s help locating two children, ages 10 and 9, who were last seen by their mother in the 16800 block of Marlowe Thursday afternoon before walking away from home.
The two were last seen around 1 p.m.

Police say the 10-year-old boy named Richard Richardson was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black jogging pants with red stripes and possibly carrying a bookbag. He also was not wearing a jacket. The girl, 9-year-old Rayvin George, was last seen wearing multi-color pajamas and no jacket.

Richard Richardson is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, 140 pounds, with a dark complexion, small build, and low haircut, police said. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black jogging pants with a red stripe. He was possibly carrying a bookbag.
Rayvin George is described as having a dark complexion, heavy build, and braided hair pulled back in a bun, police said. She was last seen wearing multi-color pajamas.
Siblings reported missing in Detroit safely home
Two children reported missing Thursday on the city s west side have returned home, Detroit police announced.
Richard Richardson and Rayvin George were recovered this evening and are safe, police said in a statement. Other details were not released.
The brother and sister, age 10 and 9, were last seen by their mother at about 1 p.m. in the 16800 block of Marlowe, police said in a statement.
The pair left on foot without jackets, according to the notice.

Richard, 10 and Rayvin, 9 had last been seen by their mother Thursday at approximately 1 p.m. in the 16800 block of Marlowe. Richard and Rayven left the location on foot in an unknown direction.
