As an incentive, all donors who give in February will receive a $5 Amazon gift card, made possible by a one-million dollar donation from Amazon. Montana Red Cross director Diana Wright told MTN that when the temperatures drop this low, a lot of people tend to cancel their blood appointments. But despite the winter weather and potential decline in supply, the Red Cross still has a high demand for blood and plasma donations.

The snowfall generated by this weekend s winter storm has made driving anywhere around Big Sky Country less than ideal at best; foolhardy at the worst. Snow depths ranged from none in Missoula to a maximum of 34 inches at West Yellowstone by 5 p.m. Saturday. These was four inches on the ground at Great Falls International Airport, five inches in Havre, three at Helena, 10 at Logan International Airport in Billings and 11 inches in Big Timber.
