Jun. 5—Kokomo's Plez Lawrence raced to a 15th-place finish in the 200-meter dash at the IHSAA Boys Track and Field State Finals on Friday at Indianapolis Ben Davis to post the Tribune area's best result at the state meet. The Wildkat junior, who was also seeded 15th, finished in :22.9 in his first appearance at state. Lawrence was part of a strong North Central Conference showing in the 200. .
