Jack Hardcastle became the latest poker player to join the exclusive
WPT Champions Club after he came out on top of a field of 888 entrants to win the
partypoker for his biggest poker tournament cash to date of $447,859.
Hardcastle is one of poker s latest success stories with one big online poker tournament score after another in recent months. Less than a month ago, he managed his previous biggest score in his poker career at the time after he finished in fourth place after agreeing to a four-way deal at the final table in the PokerStars Blowout Series: $109 NLHE â The Big Blowout! to win $270,764.

WPT Blog, Andrei Kriazhev opened with cowboys and was called by
Jan-Eric Schwippert with jacks before Jack Hardcastle squeezed with snowmen. All three players got their chips in the pot with Kriazhev having both of his opponents covered and Hardcastle coming in as the short stack.
It appeared likely that Hardcastle and Schwippert would both hit the rail but that wasn t the case for Hardcastle who instead temporarily snagged the chip lead after an eight came on the board to give him a set.
Day 2 of the
WPT Montreal $3,200 Main Event witnessed 133 players out of a total field of 888 entrants whittled down to just 23 hopefuls after ten levels of 30-minutes each on Monday, Jan. 26 at
Felix Schulze, waving the Austrian flag at partypoker, emerged as the clear overnight chip leader with a towering stack of 20,785,963 in chips.
Schulze is looking to add a WPT title to his
WPT DeepStacks title he earned in April 2019 in that festival s â¬1,100 Main Event for â¬104,304 ($117,018).
Andrei Kriazhev entered Day 2 with the chip lead and parlayed this into a healthy second place stack heading into Day 3 with 18,782,517 in chips. Also bagging eight-figure stacks into Day 3 were

Luiz Orrico had the best day among the 61 survivors after he virtually bagged the Day 1b chip lead with a stack of 4,066,132.
The flight attracted 406 entrants to add another $1,218,000 to the prize pool. This brought the total prize pool up to $2,664,000 after taking into account the 482 entrants battling it out last Sunday, Jan. 17 to obliterate the $2 million guarantee.
