Since at least the 1930’s, VFW Post 2932 at 620 W. Wheeler Ave. has stood in Aransas Pass, just across the street from the current City Hall. The group, formed after World War I, has a core membership that still volunteers their time to cut the grass and keep the aging structure open, now a popular venue for a Market Days event every few months that draws hundreds of shoppers.
VFW Post 2932 held their first annual Memorial Day Community Appreciation Celebration for Aransas Pass with free music and food to honor those who risked their lives for our freedom.
