Black Restaurant Week, which helps highlight San Antonio Black-owned restaurants will begin on February 21-28.
The week-long event is not only for brick-and-mortar spots but food trucks, caterers and other food-related businesses in San Antonio to also be showcased. In a city where the Black population only makes up about 7% of the city’s population, and has a small but growing population of Black business owners, it is nice to be able to shine a light on Black business owners in the culinary field to provide support and acknowledgement.
