Newnan City Council chambers were packed Tuesday evening as opponents of a proposed annexation filled the seats and spilled into standing room-only areas.
Newnan City Council members breezed through their meeting on Tuesday, approving contracts, alcohol licenses and appointing a number of residents to city boards.
A town hall concerning the Green Top development allowed residents to voice their concerns about the ongoing issue, which now lies in the hands of the city of Newnan.
