Gautam Buddha University will receive a one-time grant of Rs 100 crore from the state govt for the development of an AI centre and infrastructure in Noida. The university plans to establish a new AI-based Centre of Excellence and enhance the existing infrastructure on the campus. The centre will focus on research and development in AI and will collaborate with industry partners. The university also aims to incorporate AI and machine learning in its courses. The budget allocated for infrastructure development will be utilized to improve laboratories and other facilities. The university plans to increase the permanent faculty strength and explore partnerships with foreign universities for student and faculty exchange programs.
