COPS arrested a man today after a suspicious package was sent to a Covid vaccine factory, halting jab production.
The Wockhardt plant in Wrexham, North Wales, where doses of the AstraZeneca jab are made and stored, was cordoned off following the discovery yesterday.

A 53-year-old man from Chatham was arrested after warrants were carried out at homes in the area.

A suspicious package received on Wednesday at a vaccine production facility of India-headquartered bio-pharmaceutical major Wockhardt in the UK led to a partial evacuation of the site while the local police investigate the matter. The factory, located at Wrexham Industrial Estate in North Wales, operates a fill-finish production line for the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19 after an agreement was struck in August last year. Local reports suggest that a bomb disposal unit has also been deployed as part of the investigations at the unit.
Wockhardt UK in Wrexham this morning received a suspicious package to site. All relevant authorities were immediately notified and engaged, a Wockhardt UK statement said.
