A Stevensville man was charged with two felonies after he allegedly struck a woman with his vehicle in a grocery store parking lot and then met officers with a pistol in his hand at his home.
Daniel Philip Price Morrison, 27, appeared Monday before Ravalli County Justice Jim Bailey on felony counts of assault with a weapon and assault on a peace officer. Morrison is also charged with misdemeanor driving while under the influence.
According to the charging affidavit, a Montana Highway Patrol trooper was dispatched to the Super 1 parking lot in Stevensville at about 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13 for a report that a vehicle had struck a person and then left the scene.
