A Class-12 student in Thanjavur sought to end her life on January 9 after allegedly being forced to convert to Christianity. Cops registered her dying declaration and are basing the probe on it.
A complainant alleged that the girl was forced to clean toilets and wash dishes in the school hostel when she resisted conversion attempts, following which she tried to end her life and eventually succumbed.
