nice job. this is cnn tonight. i m don lemon. what we saw on capitol hill today was nasty. a hearing that erupted into chaos from the very first question. a partisan bare-knuckle brawl. embattled fbi agent peter strzok going head to head with republicans well into the night, defending himself against attacks over his anti-trump texts. at no time in any of these texts did those personal beliefs ever enter into the realm of any action i took. and the suggestion that i in some dark chamber somewhere in the fbi would somehow cast aside all of these procedures, all of these safeguards and somehow be able to do this is astounding to me. it simply couldn t happen. it was a day of shouting matches and speeches disguised as questions, which he didn t get a chance to really answer or rebut much of the time. all of it playing out on live
