SPJIMR & FICCI-FLO Mumbai release white paper on ‘Women Entrepreneurship in India’

Synopsis
According to the latest Global Gender Gap Report presented at the World Economic Forum 2020, India ranks as low as 149th amongst 153 countries. It has been estimated that if India maintains its progress toward gender parity at the same pace as a fastest improving economy, it could add $700 billion to its GDP by 2025.

Dr. Sumita Datta, SPJIMR said that “women entrepreneurs tend to be driven by a higher purpose of serving the needs of the society”.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s SPJIMR, along with FICCI-FLO Mumbai, the ladies organisation of industry body FICCI, have jointly released a white paper titled “Women Entrepreneurship in India – Navigating the Social Paradoxes”.
