LOS ANGELES, April 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The recently launched SDS Supportive Housing Fund
(SHF or Fund) a first-of-its-kind private-equity impact fund that finances new, financially-sustainable permanent supportive housing (PSH) for individuals experiencing homelessness – today announced it has closed $10.3 million in funding to develop new housing in South Los Angeles. Soon to be transformed into 60 one-bedroom units, the project site at 8450 S. Broadway is currently a shuttered preschool owned by the Heavenly Vision Missionary Baptist Church.
