the task force had some of the officers involved in the beating. we have former nypd detective angel mayes son joins us on set. good to see you, angel. good morning. will: what do you think about reaction to disband the unit, scorpion unit tasked with looking at high crime areas dealing with them? supposedly in some type of specialized way. i think it was reactionary to disband the unit. i believe if the unit was an issue, probably would have been disbanded before this. while i understand they re going to take into consideration how the public feels, right, given what was seen on the body cam footage i think it is reactionary. will: it is possible, to your point, it is possible we look back on it now see other instances that my occurred in the scorpion unit but when you get rid of these units, it is easy to say these units are more aggressive, whatever it may be, what is the implications within the community when you start getting rid of these kind of units? so the nypd got rid o
