Rift Apart is truly beautiful, a cavalcade of colour and style. Particle effects look fabulous and loading times are practically non-existent. It’s all rather gorgeous. What do you think of the gameplay below?

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart release date has been set for 11 June 2021, Sony and Insomniac Games have today detailed.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is a brand-new full-length adventure,” Insomniac said of its latest. “When the evil Dr. Nefarious uses a device that can access alternate dimensions to find a galaxy where he always wins, Ratchet and Clank are separated. As they try to re-unite, they will meet a new Lombax resistance fighter, explore new and familiar locales (but with new dimensional twists!), and wield a whole new arsenal of out of this world weapons.”

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart has an Australian RRP (recommended retail price) of $124.95 AUD, the highest price point Sony allows for.
Back in September of last year, Sony confirmed that titles from its first-party studios would “be priced from US$49.99 to US$69.99 (RRP) on PS5.” Here within Australia, that meant a price as high as $124.95 AUD.
Titles like
Spider-Man Miles Morales and
Demon’s Souls have also been placed at the high end of Sony’s pricing scale.
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is a PS5 exclusive, offering visuals at up to 4K with HDR. It also offers a performance mode that will hit “a targeted 60fps frame rate as you encounter new enemies across multiple dimensions.” Support for the DualSense’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback will also be offered alongside Tempest 3D AudioTech on compatible headphones.
