Leading mosque imam appeals to fellow Muslims to get Covid test The imam of one Blackburn’s biggest mosques has urged people within the Muslim community to get a Covid test. Imam Rashid Ghani of Blackburn’s Raza Mosque, Randal Street is encouraging the local community to get involved with surge testing to help control the spread of the Indian variant of Coronavirus. Surge testing and vaccinating has been taking place in Blackburn, along with a number of other impacted areas in the UK, after cases of the B1617.2 mutation increased. In a special video message shared by Blackburn with Darwen Council Imam Ghani says: “I am here to urge our community – the Muslims of Blackburn- to co-operate and take part in this present surge testing process. It is very important we do not endanger ourselves and our loved ones and the people we work with.

With 4G, Kashmir hopes to call back growth February 16, 2021 Start-ups make renewed efforts to make a comeback after 18 months of Internet blackout Malik Aadil, the founder of Kashmir’s first grocery delivery platform Groxery, is making renewed efforts to grow his fledgling start-up after the Centre restored 4G network across the State. His online platform, which had come to a grinding halt after the internet was blocked in the State for 18 months, will now come with new features, including a subscription model that entails the ‘Buy and Pay Later’ option in-app notifications. Aadil is also expanding his footprint across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
