However, after a year on the inside, I learned they had little concern for rebuilding Black families, Turner said.
Turner published a YouTube video that states that BLM has a desire to disrupt the nuclear family structure. And they cared even less, Turner added, about improving the quality of education for students in Minneapolis. That was made clear when they publicly denounced charter schools alongside the teachers union.
Rashad Turner, the founder of the Black Lives Matter chapter in St. Paul, Minnesota, told “Fox & Friends First” Wednesday that he left the group for its failure to prioritize education - arguing it should be the focus when “doing what’s best for Black families.”

Let the truth be told. Aside from being a great song from Mattew West, it’s what’s long needed to happen with Black Lives Matter. Last summer as the Marxist organization rose to prominence, I pointed out what they actually stood for which was posted as the mission statement on their website. Here’s a refresher:
We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead.
We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege
We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered.
