The State Department Thinks The Muslim Brotherhood Will Honor the Israeli Peace Treaty
Rashad al-Bayoumi said the Israeli peace will be abolished
The JP Post reports that the State Department has been assured The Muslim Brotherhood will not break the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty despite public statements to the contrary.
“We have had other assurances from the party with regard to their commitment not only to universal human rights, but to the international obligations that the Government of Egypt has undertaken,” State Department Spokesperson Victoria Nuland said in a briefing.

The Egyptian authorities executed nine men convicted of murder in the 2013 Kerdasa attack on a police station.
The nine men were among 20 defendants sentenced to death in the assault case which left 15 people dead, including 11 policemen.
According to the investigations, the convicts, most of whom are members of the banned Muslim Brotherhood group, stormed the Kerdasa police station after security forces dispersed camps of the supporters of former President Mohammed Morsi in Rabaa, Cairo, and el-Nahda in Giza.
