En Rasavin Manasile completes 30 years today and the film s lead actress Meena Sagar took to her social media to talk to talk the film. Directed by Kasthuri Raja, the film starred Rajkiran and Meena in the lead, with music scored by Ilaiyaraaja. This romantic drama went on to become a blockbuster and won several awards that year, including three state awards Special Prize for Best Actor to Rajkiran, Best Lyricist to Piraisoodan and Best Film Award, second spot.
The film also marked Meena as an adult actor in a big way. Her innocent portrayal as Solaiyamma won her many fans and she was flooded with film offers as well.
