New bunker terminal set for Q2 launch at Port of Duqm Muscat, Oman, February 2, 2021 Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO), the domestic fuel marketing subsidiary of OQ Group, has said it plans to commission its new bunker terminal at the Port of Duqm before the second quarter of this year, a report in   Playing an active role in the bunker business since 1994, OOMCO is currently building a bunker terminal bunker barge to be permanently located at the port. The facility will serve as the central hub for bunkering services in other ports in Oman, offering 30,000 cu m of storage capacity. The terminal will also benefit from being next door to Duqm Refinery, which is planned to be commissioned in the first half of 2022, in addition to Oman Dry Dock, Ras Markaz Crude Oil Park, and a growing number of industries in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

Drydocks World to deliver 2 Calm Buoys for Ras Markaz Crude Oil Park Project DUBAI, 30th January, 2021 (WAM) Drydocks World, the service provider to the marine, offshore, oil, gas and renewable energy sectors, has announced that it completed the production on two Calm Buoys for the Ras Markaz Crude Oil Park Project for clients, Bluewater Energy Services BV, China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co. Ltd. (Oman Branch) and Oman Tank Terminal Company LLC. Catenary anchor leg mooring Calm Buoys act as offshore floating hulls to transfer stabilised crude and refined hydrocarbon products while tethering even the largest crude carriers to onshore terminals via up to 400 Megatons hawser load.

Drydocks World to deliver 2 Calm Buoys for Oman project DUBAI, January 30, 2021 Drydocks World, a major service provider to the marine, offshore, oil, gas and renewable energy sectors, has announced that it completed the production on two Calm Buoys for the Ras Markaz Crude Oil Park Project in Oman for a joint venture of Bluewater Energy Services BV, China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Company (Oman Branch) and Oman Tank Terminal Company.   Catenary anchor leg mooring Calm Buoys act as offshore floating hulls to transfer stabilised crude and refined hydrocarbon products while tethering even the largest crude carriers to onshore terminals via up to 400 megatonne hawser load, said Drydocks World in its statement.
