Most of them are still off to the west and sliding eastward. A calm wind, a nice morning to start. But today this front from the west starts to drag the snow showers in the ohio valley eastward today and that will be coming across. Eventually that gets to us at 9 00, 10 00 and into the afternoon. Here in flatbush, police have been combing through the area. They have been looking for surveillance cameras. Clear pictures that they can get in this case. They say an 11yearold girl was at the bus stop at albermarle road around 5 40 p. M. When the suspect asks her if she needs a ride then gets out of the his car and tries to grab her. She runs back to the Charter School up the block and tells authorities. Word has gotten out this morning. School safety officers were watching the kids extra closely. Parents are well aware this could have happened to anyone. Im very concerned because they go to the bus stop by themselves and they usually leave about 6 00, 6 30. They left a little late because im sick and i decided to take them because i heard it. Reporter now, once again, the girl was able to tell authorities the man was driving a rusty old gray van carrying he was on the shorter side, 53, baseball cap, gray sweater and gray pants. Suspect is actually the one who turned himself in. Police telling us that he walked into the 25th precinct station house in brooklyn yesterday and surrendered. And this morning he is now facing a long list of charges. Police say ross alula admits he was the man in this picture. The man on board that number 3 train in brooklyn tuesday night who walked up to a 29yearold woman allegedly telling her, this train. Investigators say 37yearold then slashed the woman with a clothcovered machete leaving a 2inch gash on her hand. It is a random act, doesnt make no sense. Why cut somebody that you dont even know .
