this is the schuylkill river, big one through delaware and towards philadelphia and the raredon river in new jersey. cresting as i speak and today. that s where rescues are taking place like this. the town i lived in, the river hit an all time record crest a block from my house. what s left is a muddy mess. i m looking at this water here. after this water recedes, there s going to be three to four inches of muck behind this. that will be in homes too. we don t know the exact locations of images we are looking at, but it shows how widespread it is. even the idea could people have gotten in cars and evacuated, where would they evacuate to? it knocked out the whole region. as you said, it is a sunny day this morning. naturally, beyond the rescues what happens, the water is naturally going to recede?
