Raquel Walker hasnât quite completed her Certificate III in Horticulture at CQUniversity but already sheâs planting the seeds for a bright future by securing employment with a Rockhampton landscaping business.
The 23-year-old has been in her element since undertaking Horticulture at CQUniâs Rockhampton City campus and it was her love for plants that helped her find a job with Jimâs Handyman and Mowing Service.
âHorticulture has always interested me and CQUni offered a great opportunity to explore that interest and make a career out of it,â Raquel said.
âWith this being a more hands-on course, I felt secure, while the ability to do online study means that I can continue my pace even with my new employment in the horticulture field.
