A Cornwall woman is hoping to be reinstated within programs at the Canadian Mental Health Association’s (CMHA) after she claimed she was unjustly discharged from them.
Rose-Marie Mattern told the Standard-Freeholder that following both of her parents’ passing, she reached out to a CMHA Champlain East representative in order to inform the agency she wished to take some time away from the programs.

“I was trying to tell them that I was trying to grieve on my own,” she said. “I just wanted to be alone with my family that I have left.”
