Albertville clinic adds rapid coronavirus testing as area sees 14-day test positivity of more than 50%
According to data from the Alabama Department of Public Health, more than 19% of Marshall County s cumulative cases occurred in December.

Nine months into the pandemic, Marshall County continues to be one of the hard hit areas.
On Wednesday, the county added 121 new positive cases, bringing the cumulative total to 7,205 confirmed cases. 1,372 of those cases occurred during first half of December, which equates to just over 19 percent of the total.
A COVID-19 rapid test is performed at Rapid Care Family Medical Clinic. The facility got the ability to conduct these tests in early December.
