Treasure island, i understand you have an exemption for the residence. On an island that has one access point to toll businesses, or anyone on Treasure Island is unacceptable. These businesses, vendors, will not go to their businesses if they are having to pay tolls. The businesses have employees who cannot pay tolls. These businesses will not be able to get employees to work for them. The businesses should not have to pay tolls to have people work for them. This whole idea for businesses is simply unworkable, unsustainable, and it needs to be dropped completely in my humble opinion. Treasure island as he have a supermarket. They need these businesses. They need them to stay there, and they need them to be continued there. I urge you not to toll businesses. Because one of my research on this, i cannot see any reason why the developer whose idea it was to redevelop the island, cant pay for these tolls . The residents wont even be able to use the infrastructure they are going to build if

Attest to, we had a really interesting policy Committee Meeting on these issues. And we wanted to ask cyndy our Climate Program manager to give you a brief outline of what was discussed not nearly in the same level of detail. But as lowell said, when you look at our where weve got emissions coming out, its pretty clear theres not a lot of mystery here. Our buildings are a big part of the story. And where those emissions are coming from, cyndy will talk a little bit about that. But more and more, they are coming from natural gas. And while we will be developing a Climate Action strategy that you will hear a lot more about for 2020, we dont wait for that to be finished before we adopt policies along the way. And theres a particular moment in time now that is very important because the Building Code gets updated on a threeyear cycle. And we are and that starts now in 2019, the new cycle. So we wanted to weigh in to be in alignment with that statewide cycle. And im going to let cyndy take

So eventually through the process of usdoj recommendations implementation, we may have discovered actually we have to change a policy to do this one thing, even though the recommendation doesnt necessarily call out that theres specifically a policy change that needs to happen. But there may actually be a resulting change that needs to happen from the work of starting the implementation of a particular recommendation. So we are going to take this back and do a more thorough dig on those kinds of items and make sure that we have a very clear picture of which recommendations are impacted by policy. Thank you. Vice president taylor. Thank you. This last page is good and theres more questions than you anticipated. Yes. When you come back and do that deeper dive can you report on not only what the correct numbers are but of the correct numbers where are we in terms of our implementation of changes . Yes okay. I think the pictures say it all. You can see sea on the upper right that there is scooters all over the sidewalk cluttering the accessible path of travel. That is before regulation. After regulation we see a scooter locked to, you know, this facility, bike rack. Thank you. We see that it is out of the way. It, there is an accessible path of travel because of this. That is our core regulatory values go to Consumer Protection , public safety. It is part of our mta chart mandate. We align our regulations with the citys policy framework and theyre very well developed Guiding Principles in the office of technology. The reports, mta and the Transportation Authority also have approved Guiding Principles which include many of the same elements. Its all very important for us. We have a number of existing regulated Mobility Programs already under mtas umbrella. We have bike share, powered scooter share program, private transit vehicle programs. We have the Regulatory Frameworks set up for that.
