The project to supply drinking water 24 hours a day to 58 wards of Belagavi city and Cantonment area has gained momentum after 14 years. Citizens point out delays due to officials and forest department clearance. Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC) is working on providing 87,000 tap connections in the first phase. Completion expected by June 2025.
