Rustlers or Maybe a UFO? Rancher Offering Reward for Hundreds of Missing Goats
OZONA, TX – After more than three hundred angora goats were stolen from the Mayfield Ranch, a $6,000 reward is being offered for anyone that can provide information regarding suspects involved.
According to the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, the 307 goats, which are worth more than $46,000, were taken from the Mayfield Ranch sometime between April 7, 2020, and September 23, 2020.
According to Special Ranger Marty Baker of the TSCRA, at this time it is unknown if all 307 goats were stolen at once or over time.
The goats have their left ears cropped and most of them have tipped horns. They are branded with a “Z” on the right ear and had ear tags inscribed with the word “Mayfield” and a phone number.
