Dimapur, Nov. 13 (EMN): The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of NF Railway rescued three minors and nine destitute ladies from different stations in different drives and checks conducted from November 8 to the 10th, over NF Railway. The rescued minors and ladies were later, handed over to respective Childline/NGOs for their safe custody and further course of action, NFR informed in an update. On November 8, RPF of Rangapara North conducted a routine check of Train no. 15818 (Donyi Polo Express) at Rangiya railway station. During the check, they rescued one run-away minor girl from the train. In a drive conducted on November 9 against female beggasr at Guwahati railway station, RPF of Guwahati rescued nine female beggars. All the rescued ladies were handed over to an old-age home in Guwahati for their safe custody and further course of action, NFR stated.
