Panaji: The Goa government on Saturday started administering the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine to the healthcare workers in the state, an official said. Those healthcare workers who had taken the first dose of the vaccine 28 days ago were given the second shot on Saturday, state immunisation officer Dr Rajendra Borkar said.

Panaji, Feb 13: The Goa government on Saturday started administering the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine to the healthcare workers in the state, an official said.
Those healthcare workers who had taken the first dose of the vaccine 28 days ago were given the second shot on Saturday, state immunisation officer Dr Rajendra Borkar said.

PANAJI: A hospital worker became the first person in Goa to receive the coronavirus vaccine on Saturday, health officials said.
Ranganath Bhojje, a worker at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) near here, was the first to receive the vaccine dose in the coastal state, an official said.
The vaccination drive began in the morning at seven different centres, including two private hospitals, in the state.
