BATANGAS CITY– Around 2,000 individuals received their first jab in a special mass vaccination program of the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 at the provincial Dream Zone Center in Batangas City for Taal Volcano eruption responders, evacuees and priority groups from different local government units (LGUs), the whole of Friday, July 16. Emergency responders from different units of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Batangas Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Air Force (PAF) and Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Offices (DRRMOs) wasted no time in taking the opportunity to be vaccinated to make themselves more efficient responders and improve their immune system.

In a press statement, Cayetano said House Bill 8628 or the proposed Bayanihan to Arise as One Act (Bayanihan 3) authored by Velasco “might not be approved in time to help those who need it the most.”
Cayetano also took a jab at Velasco’s bid to prioritize Charter change moves which the Lower House Committee on Constitutional Amendments did when it adopted last week Resolution of Both Houses 02.
“This is precisely why we asked that we focus on what is important, #AyudaHindiChacha, so that we can give the best solutions to the problems facing the nation without any distractions,” he said.
