DAKOTA COUNTY, MN A former Minnesota corrections officer was sentenced Wednesday to 120 days in jail after he was convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. Randy A. Beehler, 54, of Foley, coerced a female prisoner he was transporting into having sex with him, according to authorities.
Beehler was also placed on probation for seven years and must participate in sex offender treatment and register as a predatory offender.
Wednesday s sentence comes after Beehler s guilty plea on March 24.

The former corrections officer, Randy A. Beehler, was also charged with two felonies for criminal sexual conduct, the Star Tribune reports. He pleaded guilty to one charge in March. The woman argues in the lawsuit that the Department of Corrections was negligent in allowing a single male correctional officer to transport a female inmate alone. Beehler allegedly coerced the woman to perform sexual favors in exchange for lunch at McDonald’s.
