Pointing to higher-than-anticipated rebuilding costs, the Slidell Police Department plans to move its headquarters out of the Olde Towne location it has held for decades.
Jeron Magee, a 15-year-old junior at Salman Public High School in Slidell, died in an apparent drowing over the weekend trying to recover a floating football.
