Kolberg completes 85 volumes on Poland
•Basia Syzdlowski REMEMBER ME. Henryk Oskar Kolberg continued. I lived in Modinica until the autumn of 1884 and later moved to Cracow, living and working in modest conditions. My last field research took place in 1885, when I travelled to the regions of Sanok and Przemysl.
The years between 1885-1890, I published the following monographs starting with The Kielce Region Volumes 18-19 and the Random Region Volumes 20-21; the Lesczyca Region Volume 22, Mazovia Volumes 24-28, Pokuttia Volumes 29-32 as well as the first part of the Kalisz Region Volume 23 and the Chelm Region Volume 33.
On May 31, 1889, there was a celebration of my 50th anniversary of research organized by the scientific and artistic community of Cracow.
