Today, if you are born with Cystic Fibrosis, there are medicines that have been discovered in the last 34 years, and more on the way, that will ultimately allow someone with Cystic Fibrosis to live as long as everybody else. Our grandchildren, being born today, if we get this right, will live way beyond 100 years. It creates challenges, but it is also an opportunity to transform our society in a way that will allow more and more people to live lives of purpose and meaning.
