A wind chill advisory will go into effect in about an hour for most of the viewing area including roanoke. Wind chill values have already dropped near zero in hot springs, and are forecast to reach that mark in the lower elevations later tonight. This fire. Live in brookneal, katie brook, abc 13 news. We have just learned prosecutors have rested their case in the trial for ashley white. White is charged with felony child abuse and neglect. Her fiveyearold son noah thomas was found dead in a septic tank four days after he went missing. In opening statements, prosecutor told the court white admitted she lied about leaving her children at home. There was a lot of discussion during testimony about the septic tank and the lid. Investigators testified the lid was on the tank when they look for noah. The defense has motioned lack of evidence. The judge is considering that motion. Lynchburg police and other Law Enforcement seized about 58 pounds of marijuana. Multiple vehicles and 65 thousand dollars. 58 year old Randall Simpson was arrested for possesion with intent to sell, give or distribute more than five pounds of marijuana. Hes being held without bond. 36 year old David Johnson was arrested for similar charges and is being held with a ten thousand dollar secure bond. Police continue investigating danville.
