Cougars prepare for Covid shortened season
Rancho defensive players practiced Cougar tackling in a scrimmage game against visiting El Molino High this past Saturday night for the first time since the 2019/2020 season when they took second in the state. Friday, March 19th they will play against Casa Grande for the inaugural game on the new field and of this season.

The last time the Rancho Cotate Cougars took the football field could be described as a parallel universe. Everything was open, masks weren’t the norm, fans packed into the stadium every week and were screaming and yelling. 2019 seems like a different universe compared to how we are living now.
