Bozeman Symphony benefit helps keep symphonic music alive in community
February 14, 2021
The Bozeman Symphony launches its
“Ode to Joy” campaign starting on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2021. The Symphony Board of Directors has pledged $75,000 to encourage members of this thriving arts community to share the joy of orchestral music by supporting the Bozeman Symphony. For every dollar donated, Board members will match what the organization raises up to $75,000 for a total of a $150,000 goal to continue the success of this long-standing beacon of the arts.
Throughout this global pandemic, one thing is clear to Board of Directors Chair Stephen Schachman, the arts are a powerful healer in dark times. “This past year has been a huge challenge for so many but has forced us to reevaluate what matters and what we take for granted,” said Schachman. “The importance of the arts and the joy they bring to our daily lives has never been clearer to me.”
