Union minister Smriti Irani has written letters to various ministers urging them to rename railway stations and an airport in her parliamentary constituency of Amethi after temples and great personalities. She has called for the railway stations to be named after Devi temples and mahapurush in honor of the ongoing nine-day festival of Shardiya Navratri.
