In Pakistan, many public sector engineering universities offer biannual admissions in postgraduate degree programmes. However, the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro offers admissions in postgraduate only in the Spring semester which usually starts in January.
The vice chancellor of the university is requested to offer biannual admissions and introduce the Fall semester (which usually starts in September).
