Robert Tarin Jr. is accused of fraudulently obtaining $31,577 in unemployment benefits by providing false information to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment from July 2020 through May 2021, according to a previous release form the Attorney General’s Office. He allegedly reported on his unemployment insurance application that he temporarily shut down his towing business because of the pandemic, but the release alleged that he failed to disclose on his application that he also owned a fencing company that records show did not close or suffer a slowdown in 2020.
