Her friend Stephen Carling of san jose is accused of using a knife to try to pry open the front door. He is also being considered a risk to the community. Both got a restraining order inhibiting contact between them and the victims. The homeless man accused of attacking a woman outside of her San Francisco condo has been denied bail. Even after new charges against him were dismissed. An attorney for 25yearold Austin Vincent argued that new charges brought against him for a separate attack in february were a case of mistaken identity. Investigators said that they found a rueger 45 caliber pistol. Petov was arrested and the victim died. Petov has not been charged in that case. He has pleaded not guilty to the federal charges. Petov is accused of leading Alameda County deputies on a highspeed chase in a stolen mercedes benz. The deputies are under investigation. The complaints say petov has five felony convictions and continuous disregard for the law and Public Safety makes him a danger to officers and bystanders. In a statement attorney Michael Sadad that filed a lawsuit against the county says petov is not an angel but did receive a brutal beating from the officers. But he does face 15 years in prison.
