The Jerusalem Post have confirmed the rerouting of all inbound flights after rockets fired out of Gaza landed in the area of Ben Gurion international airport. Ben-Gurion Airport began rerouting all inbound flights to Ramon International Airport in southern Israel on Thursday morning, as terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip continued to launch rockets into Israeli territory, they reported. Departing flights will still take off from Ben-Gurion Airport.

Several European and North American airlines have canceled flights to Israel in response to the escalating conflict in the country, while Israeli authorities have decided to halt the landing of international passenger flights at its main airport, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion. “Due to the security situation, the authorities have instructed that a change may be required at the airport and flights entering Israel will be required to land at Ramon Airport,” El Al noted in a statement.

U.S. and European carriers have canceled flights to Tel Aviv amid escalating hostilities between the Israeli military and Hamas in Gaza.
American Airlines, British Airways, Delta Air Lines, Lufthansa, United Airlines and Virgin Atlantic each have suspended service to the Israeli city on Thursday, and carriers have been introducing waiver policies for itineraries to the region. Israel s El Al Group is continuing to operate flights out of Israel, though it said in a notice on its website that it is adjusting the departure times on several routes.

To encourage international visitors, the ministry will be putting up digital billboards in Dubai, New York City’s Times Square and London’s Piccadilly Circus.
